Axel Karlsson, then 80 years old, sold the company to Åke Bokegård and Yngve Pettersson, who had been running a similar business in Eskilstuna.

The company moves into the courtyard building at Oskarsgatan 3, next to the current Travel Center. At that time, the company has twelve employees.
